Assembly

by Josiah Berkebile on Thursday, November 29th - 12:06 PM

I'm taking a college course in programming a Motorola MC9S12C32 chip in absolute assembly.  I really like this sort of work, I find it fascinating and I like the algorithms.  Does anyone know of any valuable sites for learning and practicing assembly languages?  I like this enough to take the follow-up elective next semester.

The majority of tutorials out there are compiler-dependent. Which compiler are you using?

Unfortunately Assembly resources are scarce, and many of them haven't been updated in years (or even decades) that's why many resort to books published in the 90s.

I'm using the Freescale CodeWarrior IDE.  I have noticed resources are scarce for assembly.  I can find more on circuit analysis than i can on this stuff.  Crazy.  Thats why I'm here, gotta be an asm geek somewhere.
